Talking Has the Format of Boss Attacks Changed Suddenly?

When I last played yesterday I was hitting my boss for the usual five whacks before needing to heal, usually a consistant hitpoint amount lost for both. Just now after fighting the same boss I'm making/receiving less damage per round with losses thrown in for good measure, here and there. Was this changed intentionally (I rather like it), or is there a bug?

Yes, the change is intentional now that defense factors in fully. I believe you might have tried it before it was completely implemented, though. Check it out again now...

I love this new change! Thanks so much. I always kept my defense powered up before working my strength and always realized the worth of defense, being a veteren of a gazillion rpgs, but this new format has other advantages as well...though I believe quite a few other players are still stimied!

Great...and thank you for the feedback.

Yes, it is a much more balanced system, and better for the game as a whole. Perhaps the others will come around to the new system once they get used to it, see the benefits/reasoning, etc.
