Strength + Attack Damage

Hey guy's im new to the forum anyone know how much strength = 1 attack i was wandering how it worked because i was trying to decide which item to buy in the shop which would give me more attack a item with alot of strength or a item with lower strength plus attack

approximatively the formula is this one (considering low defence in thye opponent):
total damage = (equipped strength)*2 + extra damage
